About Us
Welcome to Sutom — the daily French word-game designed to entertain, challenge, and enrich your vocabulary.
Who We Are
Sutom was created by passionate language and gaming enthusiasts who believe that wordplay is more than just entertainment — it’s a way to stretch your mind, discover new words, and enjoy the beauty of French language in a playful setting.
We built Sutom to be:
- Simple to play, but full of depth. You guess the mystery word every day within six tries, with helpful feedback along the way.
- Inclusive — no registration required, completely free, and meant for everyone: casual players, language learners, and word lovers alike.
- Authentic in its French vocabulary, drawing from real dictionaries to ensure you’re both challenged and learning.
What We Do
- Daily Mystery Word: Each day a new word (between 6-9 letters) is chosen. You make guesses, tracking correct letters, misplacements, and absences to solve it.
- Vocabulary Building: By encountering themed words, discovering letter arrangements, and reflecting on your guesses, your vocabulary naturally grows over time.
- Play Without Pressure: No sign-ups, no cost, no ads in the way of learning. Just you, the daily puzzle, and your curiosity.
Our Mission
Our goal is simple:
To bring together the fun of daily puzzles and the richness of the French language — making learning, thinking, and succeeding in word games something anyone can enjoy.
We hope Sutom helps players:
- Sharpen their spelling, grammar, and word recognition
- Find joy in linguistic discovery (new words, odd spellings, interesting combinations)
- Join a community of fellow word enthusiasts who value creativity, perseverance, and curiosity
How It Works (At a Glance)
- A new word is selected each day.
- You have six attempts to guess it.
- The first letter is given at the start.
- Feedback is provided after each guess:
- Correct letters in the correct spot.
- Letters that are in the word but misplaced.
- Letters not in the word.
- Your progress is tracked with statistics. Compare your performance over time, but the game is about personal growth more than competition.
